This brochure below gives a snapshot of the child health services provided by the network, ranging from childhood immunisation and before school health checks, through to running health clinics in secondary schools and offering a free sexual health service for under 25 year olds.
Midlands Health Network is also leading the way nationally to make sure children are up to date with their health milestones through the development of an electronic coordination service with primary, secondary and community health. This service will help health care providers work together to reduce the number of children who miss out on important health checks and immunisations.
Keeping children healthy while they are young will help them lead healthier lives in adulthood.
