Who are we?
The Midlands Health Network is a unified team of primary health care professionals committed to delivering the very best primary health care to nearly 500,000 people in the central North Island regions of the East Coast, Coromandel, Waikato, Taupo, King Country and Taranaki.
What is Primary Health Care?
Basically, when you go to the Doctor - that's us. Primary health care is the professional health care you receive in your community, usually from your GP or Practice Nurse. Your local GP leads a team of health professionals including nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, psychologists, midwives and Māori health workers, who work together to prevent you and your family from getting sick.

The choice of which General Practice you wish to enrol with is entirely yours, all New Zealanders are entitled to enrol with a provider of their choice. If you wish to enrol with one of our practices, please contact us and we will take care of that for you.
